Welcome to “Because, Obviously,” once the home of my non-political political life, and now home to, well, my home. So many of you have said how much you love my kid, home, cooking, and Catholic content, that I’ll now bring it to you semi-regularly, for free.

I’m psyched to be able to bring you up-to-date information on toddler hijinks, my (mostly sad( attempts to turn my backyard into a self-sufficient urban homestead, life in a hundred-year-old home inside Nashville city limits, reliable recipes children will refuse to eat, and life as a Catholic mom navigating an ocean of theatrical tradwife social content and a faith you’ll have to pretend to envy, even if I can’t muster the monochrome Instagram filters.
